Herts has money in Icelandic bank
Hertfordshire County Council is one of the councils which has money invested in Icelandic Bank Landsbanki and Heritable.
The council has £17 million in Iceland's second largest bank, which had gone into receivership, causing panic and uncertainty for many savers.
The 300,000 British customers of internet bank Icesave, which is owned by Landbanski, had their deposits frozen.
